Happy hump day guys.🐪
As I did this tag last week it felt quite good to know what I had on my Goodreads list and to know that I don’t actually remember putting some of them on.So it’s time to go down the TBR hole again to see what I actually have in there.
This tag was created by Lia at Lost in a Story, and here are the rules:
• Go to your Goodreads to-read shelf.
• Order on ascending date added.
• Take the first 5 (or 10 if you’re feeling adventurous) books
• Read the synopses of the books
• Decide: keep it or should it go?
Book #1: The Wedding Hazard (Colorado Billionaires #2) by Regina Duke
Marriage of convenience, 70,000 words
Ashley Clair needs help. Her father has died, her estranged mother has disappeared without a trace, and now someone is after Ashley. Alone, broke, and in danger, she turns to Thor Security looking for protection, but what can she do to afford a bodyguard?
Thor Garrison moved to Colorado trying to forget the tragedy in Texas that changed everything. When the most beautiful woman he ever saw walks into his life, he vows to do whatever it takes to save her and win her heart. Too bad Ashley isn’t looking for love. Goodreads.com synopsis.
I had no idea I had this and other than the bodyguard being called Thor
it honestly doesn’t sound too bad however I think I would need to read book one in the series first since this is book two. It’s Goodreads reviews are mainly 3 & 4*s but I think I should try this one for myself.
Do I own it: It might be on the Kindle
Verdict: Keep
Book #2: All of Me (The Bridesmaids Club #1) by Leeanna Morgan
Four friends. Twenty-two bridesmaids’ dresses.
One random act of kindness that will change their lives forever.
Tess has given up looking for Mr. Right, but that doesn’t mean she’s given up on love. When she reads a newspaper article about a young couple who’ve had everything stolen from their home, including four bridesmaids dresses, she knows she has to help.
But by helping the bride, Tess risks exposing a past she doesn’t want anyone to know about. She does everything she can to minimize the danger she’s in, but she does the one thing guaranteed to destroy everything – she falls in love with the wrong man.
Logan Allen has spent most of his career reporting on the news from around the world. When a letter arrives from Afghanistan, the trauma he’s been living with is about to explode back into his life. He betrayed a small Afghan village and Tess thinks he’s betrayed her.
From their first random act of kindness comes an experience Logan and Tess will never forget. And maybe, if they work together, they can create a future that’s better than anything they’ve left behind.
The Bridesmaids Club is a spin-off series linked to the Montana Brides series. Goodreads.com
So why do I have this? Well, this formed part of a series linked to another series of seven books that I haven’t read. Although when I downloaded it I didn’t know that is was a follow-on series I thought this may have been a stand-alone series.
Do I own it: Yes
Verdict: Get rid
Book #3: Heir Today Gone Tomorrow (It’s Reigning Men #2) by Jenny Gardiner
It’s all fun and royal games until somebody’s heart gets hurt.
In his line of work, royal heir Darcy Squires-Thornton has always been content playing second fiddle to close friend Prince Adrian, and happy, too, with whatever brief romantic encounters come his way. Especially one with carefree Caroline McKenzie, whose best friend is engaged to the prince. Fun-loving Caroline McKenzie’s motto has always been “love the one you’re with”. But when the one she’s no longer with is the one with whom she’s fallen in love, what’s a girl an ocean away to do.? Goodreads.com
Ok so while looking up the Synopsys for this book to put above I found this review and Patrick Elsey I love you for this
The ending just kind of farted into existence which ruins the book
Because of this review, this has made my mind up.
Do I own this: YES

Ava Ramirez has known happier days.Suffering from fever and all alone at home on New Year’s Eve, she is unceremoniously dumped by her fiance just six weeks before their Valentines Day wedding.
But instead of falling to pieces, Ava is surprised to find that she is more relieved than upset by this recent turn of events. So much so that she cancels all the wedding arrangements she had painstakingly made over the past year. All except for one.
She decides to go on her honeymoon anyway. Alone.
Hoping to find inner peace and a clarity of mind with her solo trip to Italy, Ava is even more surprised to find herself drawn into yet another romantic encounter with the mysterious Nico.
But is she ready to handle even more heartbreak so soon? Goodreads.com
I don’t even know why I got this. Perhaps I was on my well it is free kind of days. Looking at this Synopsis this seems a bit unbelievable. You suddenly decide on New Year’s eve to dump your fiance your wedding is Mid February. You then cancel everything and don’t give a crap and decided to go on your honeymoon alone where you end up in a romantic encounter. This sounds like a fantasy at it’s best and what every woman who has been dumped have wished for.
Do I own it: Yes on Kindle
Verdict: Gone

But when she and Gabe meet for the second time, they decide to have their baby together. Holly finally begins to accept her unique way of doing everything backward, but Gabe’s very normality drives her up the walls. Then his tragic past rears up; pain and loss threaten to destroy forever the fragile bond that has blossomed between him and Holly.
Sometimes the only way to get where you need to be is to put the cart before the horse. Goodreads.com
I’m really not sure about this book. I don’t even know what possessed me to download it as this type of book really isn’t me. Plus the cover seems like it’s a bit of a giveaway. Especially with the tag line
Happily ever after doesn’t always start with first comes love
