“Be as beautiful as diamonds, cold as ice, formidable like the ocean and as wicked as they come”
Why I chose this?
When I mentioned on Twitter and Facebook about what challenge I had set myself this book was mentioned several times. So, of course, I had to add it to my TBR.
What it’s about
Something evil this way comes. 7 Vengeful Sisters 7 Fairytale Kingdoms 7 Daughters of Eville
Everyone dreams of marrying a prince–except for me. I am nothing more than a pawn in my adoptive mother’s diabolical plot against the seven kingdoms. I was the chosen tool, her sharpened blade that would cut the deepest into the heart of the Kingdom of Baist. But like all deadly weapons, my wedding is a two-edged sword that could cost me, my soul.
For I am Rosalie, one of the adopted daughters of Lady Eville, and it is my duty to enter into a loveless and hate-filled marriage with the narcissistic Crown Prince of Baist. My choices and heart are not my own to give. Yet even in the thick of dire situations, beastly vengeance can give way to beautiful attraction.
This is a standalone novel in the Daughters of Eville Series

I am in love with this cover, everything screams Beauty and The Beast from the hairy hands, to the Blood Red Rose and I even love the font. Wonder where I can get the font from?
It sounds a little darker than the other Beauty and The Beast books I’ve read but once again it has intrigued me.
What I Thought
This book had magic I never thought it could possess. Although reading some other reviews it seems like it’s a little Marmite. You either loved it or you hate it. Unlike Marmite itself, I fall into the love it category.
Rosalie is the eldest of Lady Eville’s seven adopted daughters. She wasn’t only powerful but she’s very smart and can find loopholes in things. Considering she was shunned by the prince without even seeing her she didn’t let that deter her. I like that she was the bad guy even if it was out of her hands. To start on the wrong foot with the price didn’t help either especially as it should have been another woman’s wedding.
The world-building was magical and loved the different array of magical creatures including Gobbersnot who started to grow on me.
I wasnt sure of what to expect when I started reading as I had never read anything by this author before but I had heard positive things. Once this got going it came into its own.
