WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday – 2nd May

Good day geeks! 🤓 It’s that time again, It’s WWW Wednesday

WWW Wednesday is a weekly tag hosted by Taking on a World of Words. To participate, you just answer the following questions:

  1. What are you currently reading?
  2. What did you recently finish reading?
  3. What do you think you’ll read next?

1. What are you currently reading?

Empire of Storms (Throne of Glass, #5)I am currently reading Empire of Storms. With this book, I feel that the bit between battles is a little bit slow and I don’t feel as excited by this book as I have done by its predecessor.

I’m 53% into this book so I am thinking that Sarah J Maas will turn it around as other books of hers have seemed to have had a clam before the storm type thing and as this is Empire of Storms then it would be quite fitting.

I also can’t believe Lysandra and what she turned into. Put Adeion must have been out of his mind with worry.

A Court of Frost and Starlight (A Court of Thorns and Roses, #3.1)I’m also currently reading another Sarah J Maas story which as probably predicted is A Court of Frost and Starlight. I’ll be honest I’m not that far into it as I planned to read it in bed last night and I didn’t get that far into it before I was out light a light.

This cover is perfect and I want Feyres dress. I was surprised by some of the chapters as I was expecting it to alternate between Feyre and Rhys. Instead, we have chapters with the other characters POV which is pleasantly surprising. It’s nice to have a bit more insight into the other characters of the inner circle/family. I don’t plan on starting another book until I’m done with these two especially since ACOFAS is based on the things that happen on Winter Solstice which just happens to be Feyre’s 21st birthday. Rhys is starting to feel really old now.

2. What did you recently finish reading?

Naughty Laura hasn’t actually finished a book this week as she’s been working on other things and sorting out her life in preparation for going back to work which didn’t happen and has now been given an extra two weeks off.

3. What will you read next?

I have decided that next, I will read Things a Bright Girl Can Do. As soon as I read the blurb for this book I just knew I had to read the book!
